Welcome to this article dedicated to the Nudgis LTI test page. This page is extremely important: when it is integrated into your LMS, the test page enables you to view the user attributes reported by the portal via LTI (surname, first name, email address, etc.), as well as the user's role and permissions. Asking a user to access it and provide you with its content will greatly help you in the debugging process.

Description of the test page
The test page is an essential element for debugging integration errors with LTI. It is used to display the attributes relating to the user accessing the activity containing the test page.
- The first section contains the raw data that the LMS sends to Nudgis :
They correspond to the following fields in the Nudgis user list :
- The third section summarises the LTI roles and permissions that the user has in Nudgis.
- Finally, the fourth and last section shows whether or not playback progression as a grade is enabled :
How to integrate the test page into an LMS
With an external tool
Once your Nudgis platform has been configured as an external tool in the LMS, you can add an activity using a link like this: https://your_nudgis_url/lti/test/. Users who access this activity will be able to view the test page.
Recent versions of Moodle no longer allow you to add a link as an activity. However, there is a workaround. You will need to create a new dedicated external tool for the test page. You will need to modify the URL of the tool by replacing it with the link to the test page and deactivate the "Supports deep links (Content-Item Message)" option. When you add an activity to your course using this external tool, all you need to do is add a title (the only field required) and save your activity to create the link to the test page
With the UbiCast Moodle plugin
If you have installed the UbiCast plugin, simply insert the keyword "test" in the "resource ID" field, then save your activity.
Now that you know all about the Nudgis LTI test page, we invite you to have a look at the other articles in the LMS section of our documentation!
