How to duplicate a video in Nudgis ?

Sometimes, when using the Nudgis platform, you may need to duplicate media. In this article, we'll look at how to do this without having to upload the video file again. In particular, this reduces storage usage by using the same resources for both media. Metadata, comments, chapters, etc. will be independent for each video.

Start by going to the media editing page, "Resources" tab, and retrieve the code located in the "Managers" frame :

You now need to create a new media without resources, in which you'll enter the code for this manager. To do this, click on "Add content" then "Advanced" at the top right of the page :

Select "Add a video" :

Then "Add without resource" :

On the next page, enter the title and select the destination channel for the new video, then add the video :

You will be redirected to the new media page. Go back to the editing page, then click on the "Resources" tab, and click on "Add a manager" :

In the window that appears, paste the code retrieved in the first step and click on "Submit":

Click on “Update managers” :

The resources are now listed in the dedicated section :

Finally, save the changes to complete the operation.
