To help you illustrate your content more easily and quickly, Nudgis has an A.I. help function that allows you to automate certain tasks under your control. In this section, we'll explore the possibilities offered by this feature.

A.I. enrichment functions
To access the A.I. enrichment options for your media, simply press the corresponding button above the player :
To access this feature, the user must have editing rights to the media
A window will open, offering you four options:
You can generate a title for your video, a description based on the content, create automated keywords, and finally, generate a questionnaire extracted from your presentation. You can choose one or more options. Once you have made your selection, click on ‘Generate data’ to launch the task:
A ‘1 task running’ button will appear next to the I.A. enrichment button. Clicking on it will display a progress window:
The enrichment task cannot be run at the same time as other editing tasks, such as trimming or extracting slides. If other editing tasks are already in progress, they will be suspended until the enrichment task is completed, and will then resume as normal
Once the task has been completed, you will be warned and offered the chance to reload the page to see the changes made:
Remember to save your current changes before reloading the page
When the page is reloaded, the options added by the A.I. are applied. In our example, there is a new title and a questionnaire at the end of the video:
Auto-generated questionnaires can be edited directly, either in terms of their content, their conditions, or their temporal placement in the video. Generally speaking, all the options generated by the A.I. can be modified manually afterwards. To find out more about questionnaires in Nudgis, see the article ‘Nudgis media activities’
The description is also present:
The keywords are not directly visible, but they are automatically extracted, and searchable from the site's search bar:
The language applied to A.I. processing of your content is that of your video. If no language has been set in the media or the channel that hosts it, then the site's default language will be applied
Keywords can be edited in the Edit mode of your media, in the ‘Settings’ tab. In the ‘Main metadata’ section, you'll find a function for adding and deleting keywords. Here you will find those automatically extracted by the A.I. :
You can modify the entries at will to create your own customised keywords from the suggestion generated by the A.I.
Enriching media uploads
If you can enrich your existing media using the A.I. integrated to Nudgis, you can also do so when you upload media to the portal. To do this, click on ‘Create’, then ‘Upload’:
A page will open allowing you to import one or more videos simultaneously:
Once your media has been added to the queue, you can choose to enrich it using A.I. :
When you select the language, an icon indicates whether A.I. enrichment is supported
Selecting this option will give you the same choices as in the previous chapter:
Once you have completed your settings, press ‘Upload files’ to send your media to Nudgis. An enrichment task will be applied to each video:
Once the task has been completed, the chosen content options are generated by the A.I. :
The enrichment task when the video is uploaded is not available for WebStudio and the ‘Advanced’ function in ‘Create’ mode. It will have to be launched from the media page after submission, unless the enrichment task is automated for all incoming content
Administration settings
The administration settings for the A.I. service can be accessed from the Site Administration panel, in the ‘Site settings’ section, ‘Automatic subtitling and A.I.’ tab. :
Your account must have the right to ‘Manage the subtitling service’ in its ‘Global permissions’. To find out more about the rights and permissions of user accounts, please see the article ‘Managing permissions’
This is where you can choose and set the subtitling and A.I. services that the site will use. Nudgis offers two subtitling services, Gladia and Authot, and one A.I. service, Aristote (which includes subtitling and can therefore be chosen as the service for this function):
We won't go into setting subtitling services here, but you can find out more about the subject in the article ‘Subtitles in Nudgis’. As for the AI service, it can be set for the site from the 'Aristote' tab:
Here you can enter the login details for the service, change the authorised languages, and choose to have completed tasks no longer displayed in the ‘Tasks running’ function above the media. In addition, there is a link allowing you to configure the default behaviour of channels and media for the site. By clicking on it, you will be redirected to the page below:
This page can also be accessed from the Administration panel, ‘Media and channels default setting’ tab, ‘Subtitling and A.I.’ sub-tab. Here you can configure the default behaviour of these services. The A.I. settings are at the bottom of the page:
In this way, you can automate the generation of a title, description, questionnaire and/or keywords for all media entering the site.
If you wish to modify the behaviour chosen for an individual channel, you will find the same possibilities in the editing settings for that channel:
You can change the behaviour of the service for media uploaded in this specific channel, while those deposited elsewhere will retain the site's default behaviour. Every channel can be set individually.
Whether it's the site's default behaviour or that set in a channel, if A.I. enrichment is automated, all new media will be affected, including those produced with WebStudio or uploaded using the ‘Advanced’ function in ‘Create’ mode
A.I. enrichment in Nudgis is now completely under your control, and you can test its extensive possibilities. Improve your content automatically and save time with A.I.!
