Welcome to this article, which will show you how to easily integrate Wooclap into Nudgis to make your videos more interactive and boost learner engagement.
To integrate Wooclap questions into a Nudgis video, you first need to retrieve a link or code from Wooclap, then insert it as a comment, activity, or widget in Nudgis. Please refer to the Wooclap documentation to retrieve this information. Discover three ways to integrate Wooclap into your Nudgis videos !
Summary
1/ SIMPLE METHOD: LINK IN NUDGIS COMMENT
2/ INTERACTIVE METHOD: ACTIVITY IN NUDGIS
3/ ADVANCED METHOD: WOOCLAP WIDGET IN NUDGIS
Simple method: link in Nudgis comment
In the side panel of your Nudgis video, add a social annotation of the “Comment” type.
Add a new comment at the desired moment in the video, paste the Wooclap link, and save.
Learners will simply receive a notification to access the link and respond on Wooclap. They will not be required to respond.
Interactive method: activity in Nudgis
In your Nudgis video, open the side panel and add an “Activity” type editorial annotation.
Add a new “Wikipedia URL” activity at the desired point in the video, then paste the direct Wooclap link. Finally, save by clicking on the ‘Submit’ button after selecting your desired settings. For example, choose the position on the side panel and, if necessary, check “Pause playback when opening” to require a response before continuing.
This way, learners will have the Wooclap page in the side tab and will be able to respond directly :
Advanced method: Wooclap widget in Nudgis
In Wooclap, this time retrieve the iFrame (Embed) code for the question or poll. Then, in Nudgis, open the video settings, go to the “Widgets” tab, and click “Add a widget.”
Give the widget a title, paste the iFrame code into “Embed code,” and save.
A dedicated Wooclap tab will then appear in the player's sidebar, allowing you to respond directly in the video interface.
Wooclap links, activities, and widgets allow you to engage learners at the right moment, check their knowledge in context, and energize their learning journey. This integration, which is easy to implement, is an effective lever for strengthening engagement and placing interactivity at the heart of your teaching methods. Feel free to check out our article for more information on using annotations.
